Wyoming guide licence, current first aid and CPR, and at least three seasons in western big-game country. You will packstring and scout your first year before you take hunters.

Camp Cook
Three meals a day for up to sixteen people off a wood stove, six miles from the trailhead. Previous remote-camp experience matters more than a culinary certificate.

Packer / Wrangler
Sound stock handling, shoeing, and the judgment to turn a string around when the trail is wrong. This is the job every good guide here started in.

Draw applications, deposits, gear lists, and the hundred details between a phone call in February and a hunter stepping off the trailhead in September.
